Helium mass spectrum leak detector is a special leak detector for locating, quantitative and qualitative detection of small leak gaps in vacuum equipment and sealing devices. Helium leak detectors take advantage of the diffusion properties of helium molecules in a vacuum. By introducing helium into the object or area being tested, a helium mass spectrometer is used to detect its presence in the surrounding environment. If helium is detected, it indicates a leak or crack in the tested object. Due to the small size of helium molecules, they can pass through even the tiniest holes or cracks, enabling helium leak detectors to identify very minute leaks.
